Delivery & Payment Methods
At Easy Animal we understand that customers don't like to pay delivery costs if at all possible, we have therefore made it really simple and transparent and now we are offering a Free Standard Delivery to all UK Mainland addresses with a few exceptions.
Please provide a mobile number to receive notifications from the courier Parcelforce which will include a one hour time slot whereas email notifications only state the day of delivery. Certain items are sent by courier and other smaller items are usually sent by Royal mail tracked delivery. If you have not received your order within the timeframe stated please contact us so we can look into this for you. Parcelforce attempt delivery and if you are not in they will either try a neighbour or if the item is small leave it at your local post office. They should leave a card to inform you of this but if you do not receive a card on the day you expected delivery please contact us so we can find out where your parcel is.
All orders for the UK mainland will be free on a Standard Delivery.(Excluding Galvanised Dog Run Panels). Standard Delivery includes Royal Mail tracked delivery so expected delivery times should be between 2-5 days. Should you require your order even quicker then you can choose in the checkout to upgrade the order to Next Day Delivery for a small surcharge of £3.00 which will mean your order will be delivered by next day courier , Parcelforce ( Monday to Friday only) but orders need to be placed before 2pm.
Next day delivery orders placed after 2pm Thursday will not be sent out until Friday for delivery on Monday and orders placed on Friday after 2pm will be sent out Monday for delivery on Tuesday. Please note that there are a few postcodes that are excluded from this offer and will be sent on a 2 day service.
Please note that you can order up to 2p.m and we will despatch this the same day if in stock.
* Orders to be delivered to addresses in Isle of Man, some Scottish postcodes, N. Ireland and ROI do incur a delivery charge as our couriers pass on a surcharge to us.
Postcodes which attract a delivery surcharge are
G83-G84, IV10-36, IV40, IV2-IV9, IV52-54, IV63, KW1-KW14, PA21-38, PH17-50, FK17-99
HS1-HS9, IV40-56, KA27-28, KW15-17, PA20, PA41-78, PH41-44, ZE1-3.
All BT postcodes, all IM postcodes.
We cannot ship to Channels Islands at present.
**Please note that orders from addresses in Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, some Scottish postcodes and N. Ireland and ROI will be sent out using a two day courier service.
There are a few exceptions to the Free Standard Delivery rule and that is the highlands ,islands, N. Ireland and Republic of Ireland. where delivery charges are slightly higher, please either proceed to the shopping basket to get the exact rates or send us an email to email@example.com.Please note that we cannot deliver to any PO box addresses.
Delivery will be made during business hours, Monday to Friday. The method of despatch will be determined by the weight of the product and its value, however we only send out by either next day courier( two day service to N.I. and some Scottish postcodes) or by Royal Mail tracked delivery both of which are signed for methods, this way we can track your order and obviously your order will be insured in the event of loss.
Please ensure that the delivery address you give is one where you will actually be to receive the item and sign for it. Please provide a mobile number for items sent by courier so you will receive a text message regarding time of delivery. You will receive an email from the courier regarding the delivery day if you have not provided a mobile number. If you do not receive one of these notifications please contact us and we can tell you when you can expect delivery so you are not waiting in all day.
If you are not in to sign for your item our courier, Parcelforce, will either try a neighbour, leave it at your local post office( if the item is small) or attempt delivery the following day. If they have attempted delivery twice a third attempt is then available at a cost to you or the item will be sent back to us and you will incur a charge of £15.00 for this. If you refuse an item then you will also incur a charge for the item to be sent back to us.
If your item arrives damaged or parts are missing this must be reported within 24 hours either by phone or email.
If your delivery address is in the UK we aim to despatch your purchases as quickly as possible. As a company we pride ourselves on providing a very fast service and certainly our next day orders are delivered using a next day courier service where delivery takes place Monday to Friday during business hours. However occasionally delays occur but we endeavour to get the product to you as fast as we possibly can and if there is a reason for delay then we would advise you by email. Next day delivery is not however 100% guaranteed as there are occasionally delays such as traffic problems, road closures, breakdowns etc. Items sent by Royal Mail need to be 15 working days late from the date of shipment before we can file for a lost item and either send a replacement or issue a refund.
If your delivery address is in Europe, we aim to deliver your purchases within 5 working days of ordering. However most orders are delivered within 3-5 working days, this again is sent by a fully recorded and trackable service so this service is fully insured.
All other countries within 7 working days.
Next Day Courier
Most orders above 3kg are despatched using a next day courier. We use Parcelforce who have depots nationally, and they ensure a rapid and reliable service. If you have included a mobile number on your order and you do not receive a notification from the courier regarding your allocated time slot on your delivery day please contact us so we can look into this for you to prevent you from having to wait in all day. All items sent by courier are fully trackable and if you need to know about the delivery of an order then please call us on 01785 819507 and we will be able to update you on this.
All purchases from EasyAnimal are specially packed and we try to avoid damage but obviously once it has left us we cannot be held responsible for any damage caused.
EasyAnimal makes every effort to ensure that your goods arrive to you within the specified delivery times by using accredited couriers, however we can not take responsibility for late or failed deliveries arising from incorrect delivery details supplied by the customer. All deliveries must be signed for by the customer or by a person acting on behalf of the customer. All deliveries are made during normal business hours Monday to Friday. If there is no one at the delivery address during those hours, this may delay the delivery of your order.
We send out orders on Mondays to Fridays and our cut-off time for an order to leave the same day is 2pm. Occasionally there is some slight flexibility on this time but that depends on our workload that day. Please note that if you order a next day item after 2pm on Thursday your item would be despatched on Friday using a next day delivery service and would arrive with you on the Monday. Next day items ordered after 2pm on Friday would not be despatched until Monday.
