This is the latest version of the Pet Porte and is suitable for either door mounting or wall mounting. The Pet Porte Microchip Cat Flap is a revolution in cat flap technology because the flap works off your cats microchip, there is no need for a collar, so your cat can't get caught on it's collar when using the cat flap.

The door and locking system are specifically designed to keep out strays. It fits common 17cm flap square openings or 21 cm diameter holes.

With most road traffic accidents occuring at night, you have the option to keep your cats indoors during hours of darkness as the flap automatically detects light levels outside.

In case of power failure an optional PP3 backup battery ensures the cat flap won't fail, there is also an intelligent memory system, so even in the event of a power cut your cats microchips are remembered no matter what.

Should your pets become ill, you can keep them indoors until they are fully recovered with the Vet Mode and you can set an optional audiable beep to sound whenever your cats enter, so you know when they're home!

Programmable up to 31 microchips.

This Pet Porte Smart Flap comes with one tunnel extension included. Each extension will cover 4cm of wall. Extra tunnel extensions can be bought separately should you wish to fit this through a wall.

The Petporte Smart Flap® will read most fifteen-digit microchips; these are the microchips that are used in the UK and throughout Europe. It will not read the ten-digit American microchips. Please note that chip numbers 985140xxxxxxxxx and 977200xxxxxxxxx will work with the Pet Porte but may have a much reduced detection (sensing) range.
