SureFlap Operation

Operation of SureFlap couldn’t be simpler. Once the unit is installed and the batteries put in place, the flap can be put into learn mode. The next time your cat passes through the flap, the unique ID code of its chip is put into memory. Now SureFlap unlocks whenever your cat wants to come into the house.

Multiple cats are no problem. Up to 32 cats can be programmed into the flap at the same time. Please note this flap is not suitable for large tubby cats! SureFlap Battery Life

Typical battery life is greater than 6 months. A low battery indicator is provided to tell you when replacement batteries are needed. 4 x AA batteries needed, not included.

SureFlap Manual Lock

The 4-way manual lock allows you to lock the door in any combination of in/out. For example vet mode allows your cat to enter the house but keeps him inside for the next trip to the vet.

Wish I had bought this product ages ago (if it was available). Its brilliant. Over the years had been bothered by unwelcome cats, which upset our cat very much.Had a bit of trouble getting our cat to put his head in to begin with to register his chip, so had to do a bit of gentle pushing. Registered in the blink of an eye. He's now using the cat flap with no trouble and peace all round. Clever innovation. Would recommend this product.

Highly recommend- easy to fit and my cat did`nt notice any difference apart from the fact she got a new collar WITHOUT a magnet dangling from it. It may appear a bit pricy but in the long run the savings from food and my cats comfort and peace of mind will be well worth it.

Very pleased with product and service. Easy animal dispatched and delivered very quickly with the item arriving in just a few days despite ordering on a Sunday! I was concerned about sure flap fitting into my door where a pre- exsisting Staywell manual cat flap had been! However, I needn't have worried. Sure flap was easy to fit and secure and straight forward to use! My cat has quickly adapted to it, and even though she has quite a step up to get in through my door, her microchip is read no problem; allowing her to hop in and out at her leisure! And of course with no intruders following her in, I will save a fortune in cat food!! Sure flap is the answer to stopping the neighbours cat coming in whilst I'm at work and not only eating my cats food, but making himself comfortable on my bed! Highly recommended!!

Did an awful lot of research before we purchased Sureflap. We were having problems with a couple of cats in the neighbourhood who would come in and steal our cats food. This left them nervous and distressed. Our cat flap is through the wall with our own ceramic tiled tunnel (very posh!). Fitted Sureflap using the wall adaptor with no need for any tunnel extensions. It registered our cats easily. Both were a bit spooked by the noise it makes unlocking but after a couple of days they got used to it. Now they wizz in and out. Find it brilliant in the evenings when we decide we want the cats in we just put it onto 'in only'. No more calling them to come in. I justified the cost to my husband by working out how much food it was costing in feeding our intruders. In 23 weeks the Sureflap paid for itself. I would highly recommend it.

Ordered at 15.00hrs on 13th arrived as stated at 13.40 on the 14th easily fitted into space of old cat flap within an hour of delivery.Appears a much more superior flap to our previous one cat has gone through without a problem. Thank you for prompt excellent service.

We purchsed sure flap microchip due to having night time visitors that ate all my cats food and they both become very nervous and timid. The visitor also left his mark on quite a number of occasions. We was going to buy the magnetic cat flap till i heard about this one. It surely does work, took my 2 a few atempts to come in as they didnt like the noise. Nothing a bit of string going through the cat flap didnt solve. Now they sit there looking out of it, all their food is there own and they have started to put weight on. Not too much hopefully as the flap isnt very big! Plus they are both much happier around the home. Would recommend to any one in the same situation.

We bought one after our cats kept losing the magnets for the old door, then just bashing their way through, which broke it. Then we got an unwanted visitor eating their food, and marking territory a couple of times :(
If you've had a magnetic flap, this is much quieter. It recognised the chips without a problem.
Generally looks sturdy, and less gaps to allow the winter wind through!

Purchased Sureflap drom Easy Animal, after being at our witt's end with a night time 'visitor' comming in through the previous 'staywell' flap that we had, not content with having a free supper he then left his scented calling card all over the kitchen, enough was enough...time to see if 'Sureflap' could solve our nightmare. Ordered with 'Easy Animal' and true to their word it really was next day delivery, hubby fitted it in to the previous 'Staywell' hole, no gaps, and was easy, didn't hear any swearing..so it must have been!! I was worried about the size, our cat is over a stone in weight, big lad, but after coaxing him through with cat sticks to register him, he flew through no problem, and still does. the night time imposter has been back but can't get in!! In hid defiance he sometimes leaves his spray on/around the outside of the flap, but it dosen't seep through to the other side at all, I just wash the door down, this a really solid cat flap, I am so pleased with it, and so is our boy, his food is still there when he comes back after a night on the tiles with his 'Pussy Cat Dolls' and I don't have a stinking kitchen no more..peace at last!.

I brought this cat flap in March and it was installed within minutes as it fitted exactly the foot print of my old cat mate basic lockable cat flap. This cat flap reads the microchip in my cat immediately and I’ve experienced no difficulties since its installation. I have now saved a fortune on cat food and cleaning products as several other cats were getting in and eating the food and spraying. This has now all stopped. EXCELLANT PRODUCT - I would recommend this to everyone who has problems with other cats getting into their home.

Fitted and programmed the flap today with great ease. From having 2 very stressed out cats, who spent most of their time fighting off a persistent intruder, we now have 2 very chilled cats who don't have to take shifts protecting the back door!
Brilliant product, does the job, would recommend to anyone with unwanted cat visitors.............
