Very often in winter your can dog suffer from cuts and cracks on his/her paws caused by snow, ice, or sharp chippings. In order to protect your dog, Trixie developed these protective boots - especially to prevent salt from coming into contact with your dog's cuts.
When your dog's paws already have sores he/she should wear the protective boot in addition to medical treatment.
zooplus recommends only wearing the protective boots on ice and snow. When worn on asphalt and rubble, the boot will quickly wear out.

Selecting the correct size:
Measure the paw width while its supporting your dog's weight with a measuring tape at the widest point. If the width lies between two different sizes, please select the larger of the two.
For the paw length, measure from the claw tip to the end of the ball of your dog's paw.
