Bakers doggy vending machine
Purina brand, Bakers dog food are boldly showing the public just what a dog would do to get their paws on their dog food. Dogs owners passing through Clapham Common in London will see what will look like a vending machine however what it actually is, is a rewards machine made especially for dogs, a great way of dog training.
The machine releases a dog ball and once the dog fetches and returns the ball the device will release a 200g portion of Bakers dog food. The machine was in aid of a celebration to Bakers ‘Empty Bowl Promise’ where they are so confident that if your dog doesn’t finish their bowl of dog food, the owner can claim their money back.
Peter Neville, an animal expect added: “Imagine stumbling across a doggy vending machine that adds challenge and excitement to your run in the park.” Whilst the machine was only a prototype the day was a roaring success and Bakers will definitely be looking to do more interactive games like this again. Bakers have been around for over 20 years now and their dog food is well known across the pet industry. It seems games like the vending machine will entice even more dog owners to try their food, after all with an ‘Empty Bowl Promise’ what have they got to lose?
