Battersea Dogs Home gets a visit from Santa

Battersea Dogs & Cats home has named the first stray to arrive during the festive season ‘Santa’. The 3-6 month old terrier cross was handed in by a member of the public after being found abandoned on Christmas Eve. Unfortunately ‘Santa’ is suffering from a skin condition and also had many sores on his body which needed to be treated by the Battersea staff.

This fantastic animal charity is open all year round and every festive period is always busy, last Christmas they took in 96 dogs and 52 cats which mean they are always looking for donations to help fund the ongoing service they offer. If you can offer any dog beds, dog toys or any surplus dog products they will all be gladly received, please mark for the attention of Carlton Spears, Operations Manager at Battersea.

In the meantime if anyone is looking for a very cute young terrier I’m sure Santa would love a new home.
