Cat hotel to open shortly
A hotel for cats is set to open in a few weeks, according to midsussextimes.co.uk. The Longcroft Luxury Cat Hotel applied for planning permission back in October 2012.
Seven special cat suites will form the hotel that is to be run by Debbie Carrington and her husband Marcus. The couple have had a life-long dream to run their very own cat hotel.
Debbie said: “Leaving a much-loved cat for whatever reason, because of a holiday or having renovation work done at home, can be really distressing.
“We can put an owner’s mind at rest that their pet is being well looked after, pampered and loved while they are away.”
The cats that are lucky enough to stay at the hotel will have wrought iron designer cat beds, and eat from an ‘A la Cat’ menu, with dishes served on bone china. Personal grooming sessions and mood music will also form part of the stay, along with soft pillows for the kitties to rest their heads.
According to franchiseek.com, the hotel will be the third in the Longcroft Cat Hotel Group, originally formed by Abi Purser, who was unimpressed with the standard of care available in some catteries around the UK.
