Inquisitive pup Tyson gets head trapped in sink
Puppies are sometimes known to get themselves stuck in dog flaps, however one inquisitive pooch got more than he bargained for when he got his head trapped in a kitchen sink, according to dailymail.co.uk.
Eight-week-old Tyson had to be taken to an animal surgery in Glenfield, Leicester, after getting his head trapped in the plug hole of a nearby discarded sink when playing with his brother Rocky recently.
Owner Nilu Odedra from North Evington ended up driving the German Shepherd Rottweiler to the vets along with the sink, which he was still attached to.
Talking about the incident, Ms Odedra, 41, told thisisleicestershire.co.uk: “The pair of them were playing in the garden with my daughter, Sonal and she went upstairs to get changed in to some old clothes… we heard barking and I thought there might be something wrong because they never bark.”
She added: “I ran down… and saw Tyson had got his head stick in the sink. Luckily, he is the lazy one of the pair of dogs and wasn’t really panicking.”
Ms Odedra said she tried to remove the dog from the sink by using shampoo as lubricant, but then that wouldn’t work, she decided to take him to the vets, where they set him free after giving him a small sedation to relax him.
The owner claimed the dog was a little “embarrassed” after the incident, but was soon running around and back to his normal self.<
